We are one church in multiple locations with campuses in Avon and Bristol, CT. Our mission is to honor God and grow in Christ by worshipping God, equipping believers, bringing people to Christ and serving our neighbors. We would be honored to have you join us

There are also special events like summer camps, student retreats and the family summit that will help children and parents grow in their relationships with each other and God.

At Valley Community Baptist Church, we value knowing the truth of God and obeying His Word. Senior Pastor Jay Abramson is the lead teaching pastor. We invite you to listen to the latest sermon series.

Pursuing "Simple Joys"

How's your pursuit going? In November, Candace Payne visited the Farmington Valley to encourage women to find joy in the simple things of life, thanks to the grace and mercy of Jesus. Moms Bible Study | Heather James | Avon Campus

Moms Bible Study equips and encourages women with biblical principles to be the women God designed them to be. With large-group teaching and small-group discussion around tables, we’ll get to know one another as we grow together. This year we’ll see what the Bible says about how to love others, even when it’s hard; how to forgive, encourage, and accept one another. These "One Another" topics will be practical in our families, marriages, and workplaces. All women are welcome. Please join us! We meet every Wednesday from September to May, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Starts September 12. REGISTER HERE

Women's Bible Study | Jeannette Brennan | Avon Campus

What do the women of Genesis - Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah and Rachel - have in common? They were flawed women, loved by a flawless God. We’ll study these women in-depth using the book, workbook and videos entitled Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs. Learn more about how God works through the strong-willed women of Genesis! Cost for the two required books is $20 and it begins November 13. Invite a friend and join us in Room 328B (Cafe Back) every Tuesday through May, 6:30 p.m. REGISTER HERE

ESL Bible Study | Val Prado | Avon Campus

An ESL Bible study for women meets the first and third Thursday of each month, September through May. This year, we are reading the book Before Amen by Max Lucado. No matter where we are in our walk with God, we can all benefit from learning more about prayer. Join us as we learn to take our prayer lives to the next level! This lively discussion group meets from 10-11:45 a.m. in the Library at the Avon Campus. For more information contact Val Prado. Book cost: $10. No registration required.

So much of our confusion and pain results because we don't know God, who He really is, how He works in our lives.  But with Lord, I Want to Know You, that will all change. When you know God more fully by studying His names; Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider, and many others you'll gain power to stand strong. You'll find strength for times of trial, comfort for pain, and provision for your soul's deepest needs. And your walk with God will be transformed. Let Kay Arthur guide you through the Scriptures in this deeply insightful study.       Begins January 8. REGISTER HERE
