STEP OUT to HELP OUT: THE RECAP
About the Race
The second Valley 5K turned out to be a terrific day of great racing, good exercise and blessings on the Bristol community.
About 115 participants ran the 5K or walked the 2-mile course around Greene-Hills School. Dozens more volunteered their time and energy to make the run happen, or merely showed up for a couple hours of family fun.
The most important result: 165 winter clothing items were donated to Greene-Hills School, where each year teachers gather items to distribute to kids underdressed for the long winter. the director of the Family Resource Center was extremely grateful for the donation turnout and thanks everyone involved for their generosity.
