Thank you for your interest in the Worship Arts ministry at Valley Community Baptist Church.
Auditions are held on a quarterly basis and the next audition will take place on Sunday, February 12, at 1 p.m. We will be auditioning for orchestra, choir and worship team. If you have not already done so, please contact my assistant, Phyllis Butta (pbutta@valleycommunity.cc or 860.673.6826 x121), and let her know that you are planning to attend.
The Worship Arts Department at Valley is not only a group of people who lead worship together, but more importantly, a family whose members disciple, pray for and support each other. Our goal is to develop and nurture a group of servant-hearted musicians, whose focus is on leading our congregation in praising the Lord. Therefore, although we look for a certain level of musicianship in new members, we also are very interested in their walk with the Lord.
Below are an information sheet and a questionnaire to help us get to know you. Please review the information sheet as you prepare for your audition. Also, kindly print the questionnaire and either send it to the office or bring it with you to your audition.
