WHAT TO EXPECT
We're glad you are checking out Valley. We hope you feel welcome to worship with us any time. The steps below will help you know what to expect when you visit us on a weekend.
1. CHOOSE ONE OF OUR WORSHIP SERVICES
Valley offers two different worship service styles for you and your family to attend — Contemporary or Blended. Services are held on both Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Learn more about our new worship schedule and service styles.
Note: It is best to arrive 15 minutes early, especially if dropping off children to the nursery.
2. GET DIRECTIONS
3. ARRIVE & PARK
Don't hesitate to ask for help from our parking team, who will be directing traffic on Sunday mornings. They'll help you navigate the lots. Arriving 15 minutes before the service starts will make things easier. If you are new with us, don't hesitate to take advantage of our visitor parking spaces right by the main entrance.
4. DROP OFF CHILDREN
While nursery is available during all service hours for infants through age 3, we encourage parents to bring their children to service with them, especially children in Grades 1 and up.
Communities (Sunday School) are available for children (infant - Grade 5) and students (Grades 6-12) during service hours on Sunday morning and on Saturday following the service. Take your children to the Children's Ministry desk, where they will assist you in finding the correct classroom. You can also get directions at the Connect Desk in the lobby.
You are welcome to check out one of our new adult Communities while your children attend class.
Kids' Worship is offered on Saturday during the service for children aged 4 - Grade 1. Children attend worship with their parents and are then dismissed right before the sermon.

5. ATTEND WORSHIP SERVICE
The entrance to the Sanctuary is right off the main entrance. Ushers will welcome you into the Sanctuary and give you a worship folder outlining the service and other useful information. Ushers can also help you find a seat.
Toward the beginning of the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another. You will not be singled out as a visitor. Biblical teaching, both contemporary and classic musical styles, prayer, giving and a monthly communion service are key components of worship at Valley.
You will be asked to fill out a Connect Card, located in the pew rack, so that we can learn more about you and serve your needs.
6. LET US HELP YOU
> On Sunday mornings, join us for coffee or tea in the Fellowship Hall between services to learn
more about the church and how to get connected. If you are attending our Saturday service,
you are invited to join us for a family dinner in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
> Stop by the Connect Desk just outside the Sanctuary to learn more about Communities and
other ways to get connected.
> By filling out the Connect Card, our Welcome Team will be able to contact you about any
questions or needs you may have as well as send you some information in the mail.
> If you have a personal concern or prayer need, members of our Prayer Team will be available
after the service at the front of the Sanctuary to pray with people.
