Your Home A Lighthouse Leader Training

Avon Interfaith Brunch
Sunday, March 21 / 12 p.m. / Avon Senior Center 
The Avon Interfaith Brunch Committee, representing the seven churches of Avon, invites Valley attendees to a brunch, featuring chamber music offerings by the Lorelei Piano Trio and a presentation by Leslie Pendleton, Administrator of the Bishop's Fund for Children. This organization helps at-risk children throughout Connecticut. Advance tickets, $7, are available on weekdays at Valley's Receptionist Desk.

Easter Flowers Now for Sale!
Would you like to help decorate the Sanctuary for Easter? Then come to the Worship Desk in the Welcome Center today! Choose from lilies, tulips and hydrangeas, which you may offer in honor or memory of a loved one. Then pick up your plant(s) after the 11 a.m. service on Easter Sunday.

Beth Moore Simulcast at Valley
Saturday, April 24 / 9:30 a.m. –  4 p.m. / Rom 207  
This one-day simulcast event will give women the opportunity to learn to conquer fear and doubt while discovering the liberating confidence and security that can only be found in Christ. Cost is $20. Sign up online or in the Welcome Center. Limited seating; sign up early.

Prayer for College Students
Tuesdays / 6 – 6:45 p.m. / Room 403 
An intercessory prayer group will be meeting each week in the prayer room located between the Sanctuary and the Choir Room. Anyone interested in praying for the needs of college students within our community is welcome to attend. In addition, prayer requests can be forwarded to kdecesare@valleycommunity.cc.

Bring a Friend to Alpha!

Does God exist? Is this it? What does it matter? Have a friend who is seeking spiritual truth and/or interested in investigating the Christian faith? Invite them to Alpha, a 12-week course designed to answer questions and build Christian foundations through dinner, short videos and small group discussion. No question is too simple or hostile. Grief Workshop — Tear Soup Presentation

Babysitting Class
